ABF Mitt is now looking for a business developer at the district level. This is a role for you who want to be involved from the beginning, building structures and working methods while contributing to a trusting and collaborative team.

We are on a shared development journey, where both the organization and working methods are shaped along the way. For us, people, relationships, and learning are just as important as plans and processes.

The district ABF Mitt has been formed through a merger of the regional popular education activities in Dalarna, Gävleborg, and Värmland. This transformation is part of a major organizational change that has encompassed all of ABF and is part of ABF's future strategy for a long-term sustainable, clear, and cohesive study association.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a business developer at the district level, you have a strategic, coordinating, and supportive role. You work to strengthen quality, equity, and long-term development throughout the district by supporting departments, initiating development processes, and building sustainable structures.

This is not a finished role in a finished organization. It is a role for you who thrive in change, see opportunities in the unfinished, and want to help build both the structure and the team.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Working with quality monitoring, goal management, and analysis
• Contributing to pedagogical development and support
• Initiating, coordinating, and supporting project applications and regional projects
• Creating networks, meeting places, and structures for learning and exchange of experiences
• Collaborating with regional actors, civil society, authorities, and member organizations

The focus of the role is on strengthening structures, processes, and collaboration, not on conducting local activities yourself.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop both the organization and the people.

We see that you have good knowledge of popular education and experience working within civil society, study associations, or related activities. You should have experience in business development, project management, or similar development work and possess very good digital skills. It is important that you have the ability to work strategically, structured, and long-term. We consider it a given that you have excellent communication skills in both speech and writing and that you are familiar with administrative systems and Microsoft365.

We place great emphasis on your personal experiences and qualities and assume that you share the values of the labor movement.

OTHER

All positions involve work across the entire geographical area of ABF Mitt (Dalarna, Gävleborg, and Värmland). Two of the positions are based in Karlstad and one position is based in Gävle. Travel is a recurring and natural part of everyday life in the role. Therefore, you need to be mobile, flexible, and have a good ability to travel regularly for work.

ABF Mitt applies hybrid work, where work in the office, out in the field, and remotely is combined based on the needs of the organization and the assignment.

A driver's license and access to a personal car are required.

ABF has a collective agreement with the Trade Union for Commercial Employees, the popular movement agreement.
